You’ll be serving my kids fries at a drive-thru on our way to a skiing trip

As previously discussed on Blog Will Hunting, Scott Winters (Clark, the Harvard bar jerkface) is currently appearing in commercials for Goldline.com.

Scott Winters loves gold
Scott Winters loves this gold
Scott Winters likes to hold and touch gold

Watch the videos on YouTube, particularly the one on Market Stability, where Winters fondles gold lovingly.  Apparently gold looks like an ipod!

As I'm sure Matt Damon and Ben Affleck would agree, any job in TV or movies is a good job, especially in this economy. Commercials and bit parts are a dream come true for any actor trying to make it in the biz. It's below a site about Good Will Hunting to denigrate anyone's legal, honorable profession. When did we become a class society, saying one paying job is necessarily better than another? Obviously you didn't learn much from the movie, wherein Will demonstrates that being a janitor is an honorable profession.

This also might be a good time to remember that this person didn't "say" the line about serving french fries. That was what is called reading from a script. If he or his family play "jerks" that is a casting decision, not a reflection on who they are as people.
The general populace's inability to distinguish fiction from reality is quite troubling. For example, Sarah Palin didn't say, "I can see Russia from my house." Tina Fey, playing Sarah Palin, said that. Sarah Paling did say there are parts of Alaska where you can see Russia, which is factually true.

Hey "Dawn" admit it, you are really Scott Winters, right? Sorry about your career heading down the crapper.

  4. Alex says:

I'm sure that's why Winters took that job.  For the honor of it.

What ever happened to Ben Affleck? Is he now Matt Damon's stay at home man-bitch now?
